Diana's interest in directing began later in life, after seeing her father in action for years, and also came from wanting to try something new. Her interest in casting began to develop during her high school years when she started taking directing classes. She later went on to direct and cast some short plays at her school, Campbell Hall. Alternately, she helped to stage manage some of the productions she acted in, and directed.

Diana had the pleasure of interning in casting for ABC's Brothers And Sisters in the summer of 2008. Furthermore, she was the casting associate on the non-union independent film Diamond Girl through Arlie Day Casting. She assisted in setting up the auditions, running the sessions, and helping direct some of the actors during the audition. Later that same summer Diana went on to intern at Warner Brother's Motion Picture Casting. For the majority of summertime 2009 Diana had a paid internship with Walt Disney Motion Picture Casting. While there Diana set up auditions, ran the auditions, and read with some of the actors during their auditions.

During the summer of 2010 Diana interned as an assistant instructor at the Lee Strasberg Institute in Hollywood. She led the children in theatre games and assisted in overseeing the performance scenes.

Diana has co-cast and is currently co-directing, stage managing, and set designing the Encore Theatre Group's 2014 production of Time Warp, an original musical, with book written by David Barker and Jeff Edge. Her duties continued for the company's 2013 fall production of The Little Mermaid Jr.: The Musical. She once again co-cast, co-directed, stage-managed, and designed sets for the Encore Theatre Group's 2013 spring production of Playground Follies - book by David Barker and Jeff Edge.

Diana first started working for the Encore Theatre Group by co-casting, co-directing, and co-stage managing their first ever production, the 2012 spring production of the original show: The No Show, Show- book by David Barker and Jeff Edge. She went on to continue co-casting, and co-directing while gaining the full title of stage manager and set designer for the fall 2012 production of Seussical The Musical Jr.

Previous to her work with the Encore Theatre Group Diana worked for Stage Right Productions, which dissolved by the end of 2011. In the spring of 2011 she co-cast, and co-stage managed the show, and, she also directed and choreographed the production number "Age of Aquarius" for Stage Right Productions' Broadway Bound- by Melissa Gould, at Carpenter Community Charter. In the fall of 2011 she co-directed and stage-managed Stage Right's production of Willy Wonka. Her work with the company began in the fall of 2010, when she co-directed and co-stage managed Stage Right's Production of The Wizard Of Oz.

As a substitute, she has taught music and drama classes at Carpenter and assisted with Carpenter Celebrates at CBS and Carpenter on the Green. She is very proud of the students that she coaches, both for Encore and privately; and has helped many kids attend the conservatories, performance schools, and programs of their choice. Some of Diana's other directing credits include "The Universal Language" by David Ives, for the IU Drama Festival, "Midsummer Night's Dream," and "Time Flies."
